Discipleship Opportunities
Corporate Sunday Morning Service
When we meet corporately our intent is to allow the Holy Spirit to direct the flow of vibrant praise and worship, Spirit-led prayer and ministry, and Biblical revelation. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where we all may learn to follow Jesus while receiving revelations from God that birth in each of us the nature and character of Jesus Christ. We meet corporately on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday mornings at 10 am.
Discipleship Groups "D-Groups" (2-4)
In Matthew 18:19-20 Jesus talks about the power and significance 2 or 3 gathering together. Jesus exemplified this truth in His personal life by gathering to Himself three of His disciples to stand with Him at crucial moments. We invite the members of Our Refuge to meet in groups of 2-4 people who are the same gender and a similar phase of life. The purpose of Net Groups is to be able to intimately pray about and process the revelations that God is birthing in each person.
Individual devotional Materials
Every person has a destiny to grow into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. The only way for us to experience real and deep spiritual growth is when we intimately and personally interact with our living God. The leadership of Our Refuge seeks to inspire, equip, and empower every person in their personal relationship with God. One of the ways we seek to help everyone to grow is to provide daily devotional material that mirrors the revelations that are imparted in the corporate meeting.
house church
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month we gather together in homes throughout the New River Valley. The purpose of the house churches is to meet in a family atmosphere to be able to intimately worship together, pray together and process the revelations of God’s Word that God is seeking to birth in our lives. The practice of meeting in house churches trains and empowers families to seek the Lord in their own individual homes.
